Your Name Earns $1.6 Million in U.S. Opening Weekend

Your Name has earned some of your money.

The film, which (finally) opened in U.S. theaters April 7, made an estimated $1.6 million dollars over the weekend.

Your Name, which is being released in dubbed and subtitled form by Funimation, opened on 303 screens and earned a respectable $5,281 per-screen average.

The $1.6 million the film earned in the States this weekend is a small fraction of its total $328 million worldwide gross – but still, it’s not a bad haul for three days, and it’s already more than the film made in Australia, France or the U.K. during its entire run in those countries.

A Your Name theater locator can be found on Funimation’s website.
